mass shootings.

those that are seeking
revenge and have a
history of domestic
violence, examples
could include white
supremacy as well as
misogynist
WHY?

 Some reasons that gun

violence occurs is due to
mental illness
 Some of the common mental
illnesses that suicide victims
have is depression, anxiety
WHERE?

 Brazil is one of the leading countries in gun violence death

rates
 El Salvador tops the Gun Deaths per country with an
astounding 45.6 death rate per 100,000 population per
year
IMPORTANCE?

 Gun violence is one of the issues the world has not

solved for years, gun violence can be traced to many
issues such as wars, riots, shootings, suicides, etc.
 From 2013 to 2019, gun violence has increased by 65
percent, even during the global pandemic shootings
continue.
 You or family could be killed if the increase of gun
violence continued to rise. This also violates your
right to life in many countries.
PREVENTION?

 Some ways we can prevent gun

violence can be through cracking
down on the amount of gun’s sold
 In spring of 2020 almost 3 million
guns were sold. Halting production as
well as making sure that mentally ill
people don’t have guns can help with
gun violence rates
 Gun’s should only be supplied to the
police, FBI and military.
 Getting rid of the 2nd amendment,
The right to bear Arms, may also help
to rid the planet of gun violence.
