Judges will rank acts on a scale of 1 to 10 across four categories - Technical Ability (20%), Stage Appearance and Personality (25%), Creativity/Originality/Entertainment Value (15%), and Overall Performance (30%) - for a total of 40 points. Criteria include an act's voice, dance skills, use of props, character, confidence, originality, and ability to engage the audience. The judges' decisions are final.

Judges will rank acts in several categories on a scale of 1 to 10 with a 40 point maximum total. Judging is based on the following criteria.
Technical Ability (20%)
o Includes voice quality, pitch, projection, dance ability and skill, the use of instruments of props. If the act appears to be difficult but the performer is well prepared, they would receive higher points.
Stage Appearance and Personality (25%)
o A performer that receives a high rating in Stage Appearance and Performance is in character. They exude confidence, personality and put heart and character into their performance.
Creativity/Originality/Entertainment Value (15%)
o Creating a piece of work that is distinctive or different from the other performers. It takes creativity, ingenuity, confidence and personality to present an original piece.
Overall Performance (30%)
o Performer’s ability to present material that draws a positive response from the audience with personality, originality and poise.
