Shirat HaYam – Song of the Sea

The Song of the Sea (called Shirat HaYam in Hebrew) is found in the Torah in the Book of Exodus – Parasha BeShalach
chapter 15 verse 1 to verse 19. In a Torah Scroll it is written in 30 rows arranged in three columns.

The event of the splitting of the Reed Sea happened after midnight on the seventh day of Pesach (21 st of Nissan). The
spiritual connection should be at the same day/time. Therefore “The Song of the Sea” is recited and sang on the night (early
Morning) of the seventh day of Pesach (Passover) by a body of water. The body of water could be a river, lake, sea, waterfall,
etc. and if such a body of water is not easily reachable, a glass full of water can also be used. ( NO using bath tub filled with
water. NEVER. NO spiritual connection or prayers should ever be performed in an un-clean place like a bathroom) The 7th
day of Passover is 21st of Nissan per hebrew calendar and this day is also Omer Day Six.

Note: New Day in the hebrew calendar begins at sunset.

Shirat HaYam is used regularly as a Segulah (a Spiritual Remedy) for finding one’s soulmate.

In the book Sefer Neflayim Maahsekha By Avraham Hamuvi, it is written:

One who wants to find a soulmate with ease should recite Psalms 32, 38, 70, 71 , 124 (some add Psalm 127)
… and after reciting these psalms one should recite “Shirat Hayam (Song of the Sea)”
