predominate in the lower extremities
(+)oliguria
(+)common in 2 – 6 years old children

Kawasaki Disease

RULE IN RULE OUT

(+) dry mouth (-)nonsuppurative cervical lymphadenopathy
(+)diffuse abdominal pain (-) persistent high grade fever(> or = to
38.3⁰C)lasting 5 days
(+)maculopapular rash (-) strawberry tongue, (-)erythema of oral and
pharyngeal mucosa
(+)common in <5 years old children (-)bilateral nonexudative conjunctival congestion
(+) Irritable (-)edema and peeling of the skin of the hands,
feet
(-)arthralgia

Meningococcocal disease

RULE IN RULE OUT

(+)fever (-)hypotension
(+)diffuse abdominal pain (-) vomiting
(+)peripheral maculopapular rash (-)myalgia, (-)legpain
(+)common in preschool aged children (-)arthralgia

Childhood Polyarteritis Nodosa
