degree in Business Administration of Bangalore University. The report has not been

is the faculty guide as per the regulations of Bangalore University.
Employee’s welfare includes various facilities, services and amenities provided for
improving their health, efficiency, economic betterment and social status of the workers. The
Welfare measures will improve the physique intelligence, morality and standard of living of
the workers, which in turn will improve their efficiency and productivity. Employee’s welfare
schemes are flexible and ever-changing. New welfare measures are added to the existing ones
from time to time. Welfare measures may be introduced by the employers, government,
employees or by any social or charitable agency. The purpose of employee's welfare is to
develop personality of the workers to make a better workforce. Welfare schemes it create
efficient, healthy, loyal and satisfied labour force for the organization. Providing such
facilities make their work life better and lead to good standard of living. The present study
focus on employee’s welfare measures and what are the various statutory provisions and
agencies protecting the welfare of employees.
This paper aims to underline those aspects which influence employee welfare measures,
which will affect on the working condition of the organization, as well as it helps employee
feel safe in workplace. The descriptive study was conducted among 100 employees in
M.S.Builders.
During my studies I have found that most of the employees are aware about welfare measures
process in organization. The organization has providing required welfare benefits to the
employees.
