I love nursing for its hands-on experience strongly shaped by the clinical sciences. It’s not just about carrying
out the treatments. I was impressed by the evidence-based nursing education offered by NYP. Apart from the
state-of-the-art simulation lab, comprehensive nursing curriculum and strong industry-based clinical education, the
lecturers – who are experienced specialist nurses – are caring and nurturing. I have enjoyed my NYP journey!”

This course did more than just equip me with knowledge and skills. It provided me with a real learning experience.
Twice a year, my group would visit Bintan, Indonesia, and provide dental services such as scaling, polishing and
fillings for a group of children and teenagers living in rural areas. The course was challenging but thanks to the
encouragement and support of my lecturers, I was able to relate well to my young patients and provide them with
the best dental care ever.”
