When did this attack happen?
This attack happened in March 2016 at an airport in Belgium, more specifically the
capital Brussels.
What exactly happened?
On the Tuesday, March 22nd of 2016, “Twin blast struck the main terminal of
Zaventem international airport” (BBC).
What exactly happened? (Pt.2)
The bombings occured when three men had blown up bombs in the airport that
resided in North East Brussels.
Who was the group that was responsible?
The islamic state claimed responsibility for the attacks shortly after.

It was more specifically the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
What were the motives?
They chose Belgium to try and prove a point because it was in a period of
weakness.

It was also possible that it was targeted because of its high minority percentage of
Muslims.
How was the response?
The response frustrated the terrorists because it united the nation.

Many nations united to discuss, including France which had recently been
attacked.
Overall...
Overall, the bombings were terrible with many injured and many hurt. But it is nice
to see that it can bring people together in scary times.
