CUT AND FILL VOLUME CALCULATIONS

OBJECTIVE:
To calculate the total volume of soil needed to cut or fill between stations.

STATION LAYOUT
 Distance(Sta 1-2): [2x(BIRTHDATE)]+ AGE(in meters) = 2x5+19= 29

Distance(Sta 2-3):[1.5(age)] = 1.5x19= 28

CONCLUSION:

Therefore, according to the net volume of stations 1&2 there is a

no need to buy soil/land.
