    Flexifloat Static Stability

    Robishaw Engineering, Inc. is pleased to present our Flexifloat


    Stability Publications illustrating over fifty different barge
    configurations often used in near-shore and inland marine
    construction.

    The assemblies illustrated in this brochure have been designed


    using representative weights and hook loads commonly
    associated with the specified crawler crane size. Stability
    characteristics and maximum deck loadings for each arrangement
    are shown on the individual sketches. Truck-mounted, telescoping
    boom and hydraulic RT cranes require special considerations.

    These configurations are to be used solely as general guidelines.


    Final barge design, buoyant capacity and stability characteristics
    for any specific application should be reviewed prior to beginning
    operations. Please contact our engineering staff for assistance.
