Application Instructions for Cable 8 President & GM

Be sure to complete the application and its requirements in full order to be eligible for
consideration. There are four required parts to the application process. The application
process is to be completed as follows:

Complete and turn in:

• The application for president & GM
• A cover letter describing your interest and qualifications for the
position
• An up-to-date resume.

All three elements are to be turned into the Cable 8 Productions mailbox, located
in CADD, by 4:45 pm on Monday February 21th, 2011.

You must give a speech to the Cable 8 staff. Speeches will be given at the Cable 8
Staff Meeting on Sunday, February 27th, 2011. The speech signifies the beginning
of the campaign time, which has a maximum duration of 10-days. Candidates
must follow all campaign rules, as determined by the election committee. Staff
members will vote by ballot at the end of the campaign time. The candidate with
the majority votes will be selected as the next year’s President & GM.
