 Square pieces of bond paper
 Pencils
 Crayons
 Glue
 Scotch tape
 Marker

IV. ACTIVITIES:

MEETING TIME 1

 Opening Prayer
 Greetings
 Sing action songs
 Checking of Attendance
.Talk about the number of pupils present and absent

 Date and Weather report


. Talk about the date and weather
 Message:
. I have a name.
. I share part of my full name with my family.
. Some people have nicknames.
 Question: What is your name?
. Let the pupils state their names.
 Let them sing their names in a song in the tune of ”Where is thumb kin?”

 Let them do the “Graph: How many letters are vin your name?”

. Ask the pupils to write their names on a piece of paper.


. Teacher assists those who do not know how to write their names/ prepare already their names on a piece
of paper.
. Ask the children to count the number of letters in their names.
. Taking turns, asks each child to glue their piece of paper on the chart/ graph.
. After everyone in the group has glued their names in the corresponding space, ask question such as:
. Who are the most number of letters in their names?
. Who has the least?
. Who have the same number of letters?
