Things to consider prior to event

 Making sure event signage is in place and clearly visible


 Ensuring technical staff are available to check and assist with audio visual and access
technology such as hearing loops…SANDEL TO SET-UP
 Making sure all the event team are aware of who to contact if issues arise ( Irene )

 Sufficient extension cords and adaptors. (Actioned )


 Toilet manned?
 Signs directing members to the conference room ( Actioned )
 All heating, air-conditioning and fan controls working
 Buffet Table Arrangements  5 service Points
 Signage
 Additional car parking space/lots( Provision for adequate parking)

 Directional signs: Signs in the lobby, in corridors and in the front of function rooms
 Platform: Stage for head table
 Press and the Media
 internet connection WIFI – LIVE STREAM
 Translation, press and reporting facilities (Business centres, I-net usage, conference calls
etc.

Three directional signs should be produced for each function to be placed at:
- Lobby (sign board) - Entrance at the function room.
