Asia Ridley is a student at Cal State University Monterey Bay majoring in Japanese Language and Culture with a minor in Human Development. She is expected to graduate in May 2020. She spent the 2019-2020 academic year studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan. She has served as President of the Japan Club since 2020 and Vice President from 2018-2019, where she helped plan cultural events and guided other officers. She has also completed internships designing Japanese language lessons and assisting professors. She is proficient in Japanese and Microsoft Office programs. She received the Dean's List award in Fall 2018 and a scholarship to participate in a summer seminar in 2019.
