Grade Level: Kindergarten
Source: Spotify or Youtube

Materials needed:
Color and Action Song for Children by Little Baby Bum
A yellow object
A red object
A Green object
An orange object

Procedure:

A.S:
What is everyone's favorite color ? What color is the Mexico National Flag?
Today we’re going to learn about your favorite colors in spanish!

1. Lets start with the colors!


2. Yellow in spanish is amarillo
3. Red in spanish is Rojo
4. Green is verde
5. Orange is Naranja
6. Say the color in English and have the students say it back in spanish to
practice
7. Run the students through the movements in the song.run twice
8. Yellow is Jump
9. Red is turn round and round
10.Green is clap
11.Orange touches your nose.
12.Have students say the words in spanish when doing the movement.
13.Have students stand up and get ready.

14.Start the song.


15.Have students start by walking in place between colors. 16.Use a
Yellow Object and jump to the song and say the word in Spanish. 17.Use a
red object and turn round and round and say rojo. 18.Use a green object
and clap hands and say verde.
19.Use an orange object and touch your nose and say naranja.
Closure: How do you say Red in spanish? Yellow? Green? Orange?
