The world is changing, during the last decades there has been a great increase in population, as well as an increase in
the industrialization of products and services. This has also increased the emission of polluting gases that are harmful to
the ecosystem. Climate change affects us directly, due to the fact that it generates droughts, floods and unexpected
natural phenomena.

To avoid this situation, according to specialists, the world needs "rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all
aspects of society." Although, by creating ecological awareness in the population, it is possible to reduce polluting waste,
it is necessary for corporations who can generate a CSR that aims to make economic development be complemented
with sustainability. This can be generated through public policies, where companies can benefit for their contribution to
reducing climate change and, on the contrary, sanction those that do not comply with the provisions.

Currently, there is a great global demand for black gold, which has caused various consequences, both political,
environmental, and especially to society in the governments of the world due to the shortage of oil. Oil companies are
the main responsible for releasing greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, it is said that only 100 companies in this
industry have generated almost 71% emissions of polluting gases during the last three decades, it is an example of a bad
management of CSR .

Climate change has created an unprecedented series of problems and is likely to be the greatest global challenge in the
future. Companies must strengthen their CSR bases with the environment and not generate an energy crisis on our
planet, innovating in friendly mechanisms and investing in the development of renewable energy, since not only the
survival of the companies is at stake, but also the of our planet.
