Learners will give examples of phrasal verbs in different contexts based on their meaning
Learners will guess the meaning of phrasal verbs based on the context
Learners will create a table classifying Phrasal Verbs according to their meaning

party? Is it common in your country? Do you often get close to internet
strangers? In which circumstances would you get familiar with the people
around? Have you been abroad? In what way are young people customs
different from one country to another?

After that, the teacher will explain that phrasal verbs meanings can be o1zux4mfohl)

aspectual (eat up) and give examples. The teacher will also explain the
influence of the particle on the meaning of the phrasal verb and give
examples. For example, “up” can refer to “more” (speak up), “better”
(dress up), “the correct orientation/get ready for action” (set up), “make
visible” (bring up), etc.
Practice (While): Worksheet with the table, 10 minutes
After that, students will analyze the phrasal verbs from the table and fill pen/pencil
in a third column, which has to do with the meaning of the particle based
on the explanation about the meaning of the particles.
Next, students will fill in the fourth column of the table, which has to do
with a creative way to remember the vocabulary (phrasal verbs).
Students will be free to propose a method that works best for them to
remember (ACRONYM, song, drawing, flashcards)

Assessment (post):
Students will read the three comic strips from Bringing Up Father (https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=41643). Then, they
will write down the phrasal verbs and explain their meaning based on the particle meanings seen in class. The idea is that
they infer or guess the meaning based on the context (comic strip) and the particle.
