Title defense: “Factors affecting compliance to Advance Call Protocol in Emergency

Department”

Objective: The main aim of this journal is to keep record of my thoughts, notes, reflection
and learning about my title defense.

I would like to discuss about how it went well and how it went wrong and these are as
follows:

How it went well: title defense can be overwhelming, from being scared of bad comments to
being grateful because you love the inputs from the panel. When I had my title defense last
class session, I really appreciate the inputs of my panels, it is really constructive and you can
learn a lot from them, they provided me enough thoughts to consider about how I will
reconstruct my title to make it more interesting research study. They also provide me enough
information how to consider the process I should do to make my study more doable. They
provided me more linkage to the study I will conduct and this made me more excited about
my study.

How it went wrong: Though my title defense is fruitful, I am just a bit disappointed on how
I performed because of limited time I felt like I didn’t expressed myself at its best point, I
was the last one to discuss and I only have few minutes to discuss about my title I think I
have done more and I got more productive if I were given more time to discuss. I felt like I
wasn’t able to communicate well and provide the necessary information needed to make my
title defense an awesome one.

Assessment: Over all, my title defense was still successful even though I have only a little
time to discuss every aspect related to my title. Panels are so awesome to talk with because
you will learn a lot from them and it will make you more comfortable to think what would be
best for your study.
