Narrative Report

One of the duties and functions of a Master teacher is review with colleagues, teachers, and
learner feedback to plan, facilitate, and enrich teaching practices. In view hereof, I was able to share
my expertise and experience to my colleagues through school-based learning action cell (LAC)
session. Some of the topics that I shared with them were as follows: the principles of writing an
action research. This topic is very vital in the educative process because it enriches the foundation of
knowledge and bridge the gap in terms of academic challenges. It also provides a lot of opportunities
to all the teachers to improve their teaching practices through action research. Further, I was one of
the resource speakers in the IPCRF-PPSST roll-out along with my School Head and my fellow master
teacher wherein, we discussed about the process of assessment and evaluation of the portfolio. In
addition, I was personally assigned by my previous school head Mrs.Galang to explain the policy on
classroom assessment with my fellow teachers to review and be updated in the process of assessment.
Lastly, I was also invited by the Principal from Pampanga High School to talk about the challenges in
using Differentiated Instruction strategy in Science where I had more than fifty (50) participants to
deal with.

The following teachers were given some pieces of advice in the selection, organization, development,
and use of appropriate teaching and learning resources, including ICT to address specific learning
goals.

First, Mr. Jeffrey Patawaran, an ICT teacher consulted me to guide him in the attainment of his
learning objectives prior to his classroom observation. The teacher was given some tips on how to
improve his lesson plan and attain his specific objectives using a specific rubric in learning
assessment.

Second, Mrs. Christine David, an English teacher asked me to critique her learning objectives if they
are aligned to learning goals. She was given some points to rectify and improve her lesson plan.

Third. Mrs. Riza Laxamana, an ABM teacher requested to evaluate her lesson plan in terms of the
alignment of the teaching and learning resources to the indicated learning goals and appropriateness
to the target learners. I gave her some insights on how to improve her resources using a sample lesson
plan.

Lastly, Mrs. Leilanie Santos, a Math Teacher asked me to assist her in using the PHET simulations as
her instructional material to integrate ICT-based instruction. I gave her the link to be able to utilize
the website and also instructed her to explore other web-based instruction that are available online.

Further, I am working as a Graduate School Professor at Saint Anthony College of Technology, and
