BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Dishwashing liquid is also called as dishwashing soap and dish soap.

It is a detergent used by many households to help them in dishwashing. It

is usually a highly foaming mixture of different ingredients with low skin

irritation. It is used for removing food from used kitchen utensils. Now, there

are many liquid dishwashers that can be made at home using ingredients

such as Lemon. The main ingredient is water and the main active

ingredients are detergents. Certain characteristics are important in

dishwashing liquids such as mildness to hands and pleasant fragrance.

 The researches chose Lemon as the main ingredient for dishwashing

liquid since it has a powerful ingredient that can be used for cleaning. It

also contains an antibacterial disinfectant that removes viruses, germs, and

bacteria in dishes. Today, there are people who are infected with COVID-

19. The people around the earth tries to avoid having this kind of virus.

They are very cautious with their things inside the house. One of these is

the cleanliness of the utensils. Since people can not easily go out to buy

dishwashing detergent, they can make or produce home made

dishwashing liquid by using Lemon. This research is very helpful since the

ingredients are cheap and can be found in the house hold. The experiment

is easy to make. Making lemon as a liquid dishwasher is a big help to many

households.
