It is in the Head of Manufacturing, Winda Ignacio’s viewpoint.

III. Statement of the Problem


How can Winda Ignacio, manufacturing head will convince the President and the
comptroller to believe that organization charts or position description is important in the
company?

IV. Objectives

1. To help Mr. Arjohn Labos and Mr. Tulang understand the importance of the
organization charts.

2. To set up responsibility to each employee and make them understand how their
roles in the company is connected with one another.

3. To conduct an organizational chart in the company

V. Areas of Consideration
 The company is successful and fast-rising without the help of an Organization
Chart.
 The company uses resources efficiently and effectively
 They have effective marketing strategies

VI. Alternative Courses of Action


1. Show to Mr. Arjohn Labos and Mr. Tulang the importance of using organization
charts.
 Advantage
o Ms. Ignacio can tell them how the organization charts helped her in
running her department.
o She can show her ideas regarding the company’s organization.

 Disadvantage
 Since Mr. Labos and Mr. Tulang are top executives of the
company, it may look offensive and informal on their part.

2. To consult the experts to help her make Mr. Labos and Mr. Tulang realize the
importance of organization chart and how it will benefit the company as a whole.
 Advantage
o their idea is very persuasive and valid since they are experts.
o They can show the importance of organization more than what Ms.
Ignacio can do.
 Disadvantage
o It may be rejected since you will have to pay the experts.

VII. Recommendation
We highly recommend consulting the experts in management practice.

VIII. Conclusion
1. Ms. Ignacio will invite experts and proposed to have a seminar about this matter.
2. Explain to these experts how her idea and the top management idea differ when
it comes to organizational chart.
3. In the seminar to be held, make sure the presence of the Mr. Arjohn Labos and
Mr. Tulang.
4. Assess whether top management is finally convinced that organization is needed
in their company.
