NEIGHBOURHOOD SERVICES
"People Helping People"

Malton Neighbourhood Services is an all-rounded, non-profit, charitable community organization

that is committed to supporting its members through the sharing of valuable resources and services

related to education, employment, training, counselling, and childcare. Their services target

children, seniors, and their families. Their EarlyON program in particular is a free learning program

for children and families to connect amongst themselves and with the community.

THE EARLY ON CENTRE AT MNS OFFERS A RANGE OF PROGRAMS,


SERVICES, AND SUPPORTS FOR CHILDREN (PRENATAL TO 12 YEARS) AND
THEIR FAMILIES. SOME OF THESE INCLUDE:

Malton Neighbourhood Services receives funding from the provincial government.

The funding from the government goes to 3 municipalities, including the Region of

Peel. Some of these funders include the Ministry of Public Health Agency of Canada,

Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services, and United Way Toronto, just

to name a few.

The EarlyON Centre, on the other hand, is funded by the Ministry of Education.

However, these funds eventually become available through the Region of Peel.
