Keith kind of? you're not sure.
민경 anyway, why do guys always misplace their

민경 어디
Keith where
민경 있어?
Keith is there? do you have it? So together it means
where is it? or where are you? So how do you
say, for example, 'where is the bag?'
민경 가방 어디 있어?
Keith ok how did it come out in this dialog?
민경 남편, the husband said 텔레비전 리모콘 어디
있어?
Keith where is the television remote control? ok
what's the next word?
민경 없어.
Keith I don't have it. There isn't. and what is the
dictionary form of this phrase?
민경 없다
Keith to not have, to not be there and how do you
make it more polite?
민경 없어요.
Keith ok can you give us some sample sentences?
민경 밥 없어요?
4 Keith food don't have? "Don't you have any food?"
민경 돈 없어.
Keith money don't have. I don't have any money. ok
good. let's go onto the focus of this lesson.

"On Top of" 위에

위에 (wi-e) means 위 (wi), meaning 'up' or 'above' and 에 (e),

"on top of," "over," which means "at," "to," or "in." Therefore
or "above." And together, 위 + 에 (wi-e) has the meaning of "on
this is a top of" something. The word that 위에 (wi-e)
combination of two modifies comes before 위에 (wi-e). When 위에
words (wi-e) is used on its own, it means "Up there."
Example

Noun + 위에 = on top of/over/above + Noun

4. 위에 있어요. Wi-e isseoyo. "It's up there."
5. 거기 위에 봐. Geogi wi-e bwa. "Check up there."
5
"Below" 밑에

밑에 (mit-e) means "below," "under," or "beneath." 밑에 (mit-e) is a

combination of two words, 밑 (mit) and 에 (e). 밑 (mit) is a noun that
means under, below, or beneath, and 에 (e) means "at," "to," or "in."
So together 밑에 (mit-e) means "under" something. The word that
위에 (wi-e) modifies comes before 위에 (wi-e). When 위에 (wi-e) is
used on its own, it means "Up there."
Example
Noun + 밑에 = under/below/beneath + Noun
