Epic Theatre - Bertolt Brecht Workshop
Students will see a video of a short play done in the Getting to know each other:
Epic Theatre style.​ They will reflect and discuss, a. Name & Gesture - ​In a circle everyone will tell their name along with a gesture.
b. Third Person Voice - ​Students will introduce themselves in a third person’s voice.
1. What makes the Epic Theatre different? How?
2. How does it impact you as a student of
theatre and as an audience? Gestus: Wax Museum
Students will explore Gestus by creating contrasting statues in pairs. They will discover the impact of
