Prayer of Confession Rev. George Haugen

Merciful God, in your gracious presence we confess our sins this day. We confess that we have broken
your law, and rebelled against your love. We have not loved our neighbor, and we have failed to hear
the cry of the needy. With our words we have hurt others. Our thoughts have been impure and
unpleasing to you. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obedience, and help us to walk in your
light. Revive us, and give us a hunger to know you more, and live out your truth. (Please continue in
silent confession) In Jesus’ name. Amen.
