For the given branched system, calculate the nodal pressure at J-6 for a

water level in the reservoir of 50m a.s.l. (above sea level). Assume for all pipes
k or e = 0.1mm (Absolute roughness), and a water temperature of 10 °C.

The elevation and the consumption at all nodes are given in Table Tutorial 3 below.
The diameters, D and lengths, L of all pipes/links are as in Figure Tutorial 3.

(ii) Find “λ” (for each pipe) by calculation using the Moody diagram given below.
(iii) Compute discharge rates for all the pipes
(iv) Calculate the residual pressure at each nodes.
