It is a great privilege to give my esteemed recommendation of Lilia Marquez-Doak. I
have observed Lilia over the course of 6 years as the instructional assistant for the English as a Second Language program at Churchill County Middle High School. Lilia has been an invaluable asset to the program here at CCMS. She is a model of professionalism and work ethic, and her ability to speak both English and Spanish is an enormous asset for our school. As a teacher, Lilia possesses many great qualities and characteristics that I admire. One of the many qualities that Lilia possesses is exceptional organizational skills. She has been fundamental in helping to keep accurate records, administer tests, and instruct the ESL students in many different curriculum areas. While serving CCMS as a full time employee, Lilia has also been going to school full time to earn a bachelor's degree in elementary education, helps with her mother’s cleaning business and is raising two exceptional children. She has a contagious fun energy about her that others feed off. She is an excellent manager of time and is always actively engaged in doing something positive. The thing that I appreciate most about Lilia is her dedication to the students of our school. She gives freely her time, energy, and love. She works above and beyond her contracted hours to ensure the well-being and success of her students. The students at her school respect and appreciate her efforts. She is able to manage behavior concerns effectively and has the ability to communicate with colleagues and children of all ages. She is an excellent role model for children, and there is nothing in her character that would bring into question the integrity of her employer. As the Dean of Students and former ELL Specialist at CCMS it has been a privilege to work with and associate with Lilia these last 6 years. She is a professional by every definition of the word. I would recommend Lilia for any endeavor she pursues in life, because she possesses the character, ability, and personality to accomplish anything she sets her mind to. Any organization that she chooses to associate with would be fortunate to have her.
