Throughout my academic career, my grades have fluctuated however now that I have a major,

I’m incredibly happy with, my GPA has gradually began to increase. Being in classes, that I like and

learning about things that I am passionate about has not only allowed me to grow academically but has

also allowed me to become a more well rounded individual. I began to take the initiative of getting a

tutor and learning great studying techniques so I can be better prepared for exams and papers. Learning

these techniques not only helps my test and homework scores but it also helps me to retain the new

information I’m learning better. Currently I have a plan with my advisor to start taking research classes

in the next year and with that plan in mind, I’m on the right track of becoming a great candidate for a

master program.
