This management plan is set for a third grade classroom. This plan will layout how our
classroom will be run from the time the children enter the classroom to the time they leave and
everything in between.

2. The children will also be able to take action on their mistakes and learn from them.

3. The teacher and supporting staff will create a space for children to talk to us.

4. Children will be model citizens in and out of the classroom.

Guidelines for Success

1. The children will be informed that the classroom is a place to make mistakes.

2. The class will be respectful of all people regardless or race, religion or sexual orientation.

3. The children and I will take responsibility for our actions.

4. The classroom will be a safe place for speaking to each other.

5. Good behavior will be praised and modeled while bad behavior will be discussed and

dealt with when appropriate.

6. It is alright to have disagreements in the classroom but, we will be respectful when

talking about our disagreements.

Classroom Rules

3. When you are answering a question or have something to say the childrens will raise their

hands.

4. The classroom rules apply to the lunchroom and the recess yard.

5. We will take opinions into consideration and try to change for the better.

6. We will be caring toward all students and staff members.

Consequences for Classroom Rule Violations

1. Each child will have a football field they created in the beginning of the school year.

2. When a child does not follow the rules the player will be moved back the amount of

yards for the “penalty.”

3. Each time the child is moved back there will be an explanation much like how a penalty

is described in football.

4. If the child goes back more than 20 yards in a single day there will be a call home.

5. If a child reaches their own endzone in a week there will be a parent teacher meeting

held for the child's behavior that week.

Student Job

1. Quarterback: Passes out all of the papers for the day. Collects all the papers for the day.

2. Captain: The captain will be the model of the day. Everything that we do will revolve

around how this child performs the action.

3. Head Coach: This person will be the line leader when going to special, lunch and recess.

Classroom Procedure

1. Students will be greeted with a handshake that we made up at the beginning of the year.

2. After this the children will hit the win bar that sits at a height appropriate level before

starting the day.

3. Then the children will unpack their bags and place them into their cubbies.

4. Once that is finished the children will either have a red card for packing or a yellow card

on their desk for buying lunch.

5. Then they will sit at their desks for attendance.

6. Each child will have a walkup song that is played when their name gets called.
7. They will stand up and say something that made them happy the night before.

8. Morning work will be provided and then the children can work on this after attendance.

9. Then we will listen to morning announcements and do the pledge.

Lateness

1. If a child is late they will go to the office.

2. Depending on where we are in the class, I will either give them their handshake or I wil
