Eventually, the killings stopped after the incident of Tonyo with the manlalayug

dangerous situation.

crickets, and slowly he felt fear.

place where Tonyo and the Manlalayug fought but they couldn’t find anything, but only a puddle
of blood, dark and ominous in the moonlight.

air, then he remembered what Apo said He stabbed the dagger backwards with all of his
strength, then he run as fast as he could back to their house.
