BILAL ISLAMIC SECONDARY SCHOOL-BWAISE.

RULES GOVERNING PREPS.

1. PREP TIME:

 Evening preps shall begin immediately after MAGRIB prayers and end at 9:15 pm for girls and
9:30 pm for boys.

 Morning preps shall begin at 5:10 am and end at 7:10 am

2. STUDENTS’ CONDUCT DURING PREPS:

 Students shall always be punctual for preps i.e. immediately after Magrib and Subuh prayers.

 Students shall be given a maximum of 5 minutes to settle in their respective rooms after
Swallah

 Students must maintain silence during preps.

 Students must conduct their preps in their respective prep rooms.

 Discussions during prep time are not allowed except with official permission from prep
officers.

 Students are not allowed to move out of prep rooms except with permission from the prep
officer.

 Eating and drinking during preps is not allowed.

 No student is supposed to conduct any prayers during prep time apart from the five chosen by
the Da’awa office.

 Consultation during preps is not allowed.

 Day scholars should abide by the prep rules if they are to attend preps.

 Any sick student should seek for a bed rest or chit from the nurse.

NB: BREACH OF THE ABOVE RULES BY ANY STUDENT IS PUNISHABLE BY SUSPENSION,


CASUAL WORK. LIKE MOPPING, SWEEPING OR AS MAY DEEM FIT.

RULES GOVERNING PREPS.

1. PREP OFFICERS:
 Should ensure that there is maximum order and silence.
 Should ensure that there is proper sitting arrangement in the prep rooms.
 Should ensure that preps start at the right time and end at the right time.
 Should control unnecessary movements during preps.
 Should not handle any other duty at the same time of prep supervision as per the time table

NB: Prep officers should ensure that they supervise preps up to the end more so on Thursday
9:50 pm.

2. OTHER CONCERNED OFFICES ON PREP PROGRAMME.

WARDEN AND MATRON:


 Should ensure that dormitories are closed 10 minutes before MAGRIB prayers in the evening
and at 5:00 am in the morning.
 Should ensure that no student remains in the dormitory during preps.
 The mess chef should ensure that supper is served between 6:15 pm and 6:40 pm.

IMAAMS OFFICE:
 Should control the use of the loud speaker so that the programs in the mosque do not interfere
with preps.

THEOLOGY PROGRAM:
 All boys shall remain in the mosque on Thursdays between magrib and ISHAE prayers. And
preps shall always end at 9:50 pm on Thursdays for boys.
 Five students selected by Da’awa office shall help in mobilizing their fellow students to their
respective places after preps have ended.
 All canteens shall not operate during the time for preps.

SICK BAY:

 The nurse should provide bed rest/chit to sick students.
