Discussion of Results
1. Table 1.1, it shows that if the circuit is just a full-wave rectifier circuit the dc output voltage is
lesser than with filter circuit. As we increase the capacitance of the filter for the circuit, the dc
output voltage also increased. The ripple is inversely proportional to the value of filter capacitor.
2. The waveform in Figure 1.3 shows that the output is a pulsating dc, with twice the frequency of
the input signal. The peak output value is 12.5V while the peak value of the input is 15V, the
peak output decreased by almost 1.2V.
