    Costume Design Activity

    Directions: Read the introductions from the screenplay (attached here) of 5 characters-- Claire, Andrew, Brian,
    Bender, or Allison. Pick one of the characters to focus on. Answer the questions (use the text as a base, but you
    will have to use your imagination and inference skills as well). Once you’ve answered the questions, create a
    costume design for the character. An example of this assignment can be found here.

    clothing is worn in
    that setting?

    How old are they?

    Rich or poor?

    What is their family


    situation? (both
    parents, single
    parent, foster care,
    etc)

    What is their
    personality like?

    What kinds of
    colors/patterns
    would this person
    wear?

    Costume Design:
    (Can be a collage of clothing images or a drawing that you’ve taken a picture of and inserted)
