Questions:
1. Three consecutive integers are as such when they are
taken in increasing order and multiplied by 2, 3, and 4
respectively, they add up to 56. Find these numbers.
OR
2. A shopkeeper bought two phones for Rs. 8,000 each.
After selling the phones, there was a loss of 4% on the
1st phone while a profit of 8% on the 2nd phone.
Calculate the overall gain or loss per cent on the
whole transaction.
3. Find the cube roots of the following:
(i) 1728
(ii) 3375
OR
4. Simplify and express the result in power notation
with positive exponent.
(i) (-2)5 ÷ (-2)4
(ii) (1/2)2 × (2/5)2
(iii) (-5)2 × (3/5)

6. Using the prime factorisation method, find which of
