The three legal issues that affect a business are the following:
1.2 How a business would need to do to ensure these issues are being addressed?
In consumer related issues, the best way to protect the consumers is to adhere to
the laws that govern to consumer protection law. In order to keep customers happy, you need
to have customer service to cater the problems related to the customer that they buy from
your products.
In equal opportunity employment the laws are enforced, EEO laws can be
systemic, adherence to EEO requirements is most effective when systemic. Employers can
take many actions to prevent EEO violations and charges of discrimination. Comply with
equal employment opportunity responsibilities. These responsibilities ensure that you do not
discriminate against employees because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin,
age, disability, or genetic information. A government agency here in the Philippines like
DOLE enforces laws related to workforce discrimination. The EEOC has resources where
you can learn more about your responsibilities as an employer
In order to avoid privacy related problems it is very useful to follow the laws
regarding the secrecy with regards customers who buy your product. Protect their private
interests at all cost unless you are required by the legal authorities to do otherwise.

The three ethical issues that affect a business are the following:
a. Confidentiality
b. Pricing
c. Code of Ethics
1.2 How business would need to do to ensure these issues are being addressed.
A confidentiality policy should also describe the level of privacy employees can expect
relating to their own personal property. All businesses/organizations should have their
confidentiality policies reviewed to ensure compliance with state law. Train management and
employees on confidentiality policy: Oftentimes, simply having a written confidentiality policy is
not enough. In order for the confidentiality policy to be effective, managers, supervisors and
employees must be educated on confidentiality issues and the company’s policies and procedures.
Management and employees should be allowed an opportunity to ask questions about the policies,
and everyone should be trained to avoid putting sensitive information in e-mails. Many
companies and organizations include this training as part of the new-hire/orientation process.
Don’t do anything illegal when setting or changing your prices, but even with the
questionable practices, always step back and think about what the price looks like from a
customer’s perspective. You’re not building a quick sale business. You’re building something
sustainable, so make sure to avoid any and all pricing PR disasters.
