Madam:

I am writing to express my intention to apply and be one of the qualified schools to have a free
school website. There are 238 enrollees for Junior High School and 48 enrollees for Senior High
School for the school year 2020-2021. According to 2015 census, Brgy. Basag has a population
of 3,786 people. Barangay Basag is already adopting the technology and internet. The use of
internet as a way to connect with other people, sharing information, sharing of files, for
entertainment, socializing, and many other things especially in this time of pandemic.

Having a school website is very important for us for making a good impression, as it becomes an
interactive hub for the community. Therefore, this will affect the overall image and reputation of
our school which can lead to increase admissions. Having a school website will give us an
opportunity to provide timely, engaging, and current information to our parents, learners, staff,
stakeholders and community.

Our School ICT 1 is Mrs. Arlyn Alquiza-Cascara, a Teacher I and currently residing within
Brgy. Basag, Butuan City near the school premises. Since her undergraduate course is Bachelor
of Science in Information Technology, I am confident that she can handle well her job as to
manage and update the school website.
