Ewing was taken by ambulance to Forrest General Hospital, where he ‘was listed in serious condition. Navy Chief Petty Officer Cap Anson, an equipment operator assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 11. Anson was treated and released from the Camp Shelby Troop Medical Clinic.
