1. Unreachable students because of
lack of gadgets and internet
connections

outputs on suggested time.

various reasons: a. have to work b.
non reader c. because of the
pandemic

5. Poor understanding in directions/
lesson
6. Non-responsive students (can
see the messages but failed to
reply)

Solutions/Interventions Done
1. In most cases, the adviser monitor
students through parents who has gadgets
through GC’s and through phone calls.
2. Constant monitoring on their progress in
answering their modules and giving them
assistance through chat
3. Encouraged them to balance their time
in answering their module and working.
4. Constant reminder through Group chats
or through phone calls.
5. Assist and guide when they inquire for
assistance, follow up when needed to
check the inquires are treated satisfactory
through messenger
6. Constant follow-ups
Insights Gained
Modular learning is quite
challenging and exhausting in the
part of the students/ parents and
teacher. Students have hard time in
understanding the lesson and the
only way to communicate to the
teacher is through GC. Since not all
students have internet connection, it
became more difficult on their part.
Overall, our education is threatened
with this pandemic. Students are
not learning at full gain and
teachers, even if they want, are
having hard time teaching their
students. This type of learning really
requires self-discipline and self-
motivation which can only be
possible through the joint effort of
students, teachers and parents.
Future Plan
1. Home visit the students who
failed to comply minimum
requirements
2. As of now. the most realistic
way to motivate the students is
strong communication. The
students will be classified by
levels of always communicating,
sometimes communicating and
not communicating. But for
some cases, even though they
are not active on communication
they still can pass their outputs
on time.
3. Maintain open communication
with students and parents.

Inspite of all of these difficulties, we,
teachers should be more patient in
considering the reasons of our
students. We have to embrace this
kind of New Normal in our
education system.
