Service Description
JOB TITLE: CIC SITE PTW Coordinator

Entity: IKIKE Project


MISSIONS
This PTW Coordinator shall be responsibility to monitor the implementation of COMPANY HSE Contractual
requirements (Exhibit L and General Specifications) and JV Field Operations procedures as related to Permit-to-Works
(PTW) follow-up with JV SITE team and CONTRACTOR Construction Team during the offshore execution works for
IKIKE Project Brownfield activities
ACTIVITIES
• Monitor the implementation of the CTR Permit–to-Work during the construction, hook-up, pre-commissioning
and commissioning phase of the offshore works execution.
• Participate in the daily PTW preparation and review meetings with CTR and JV SITE team and ensure
compliance with approved procedures and timely validation and opening of permits.
• Organize and participate in the weekly PTW review meeting and ensure proper documentation of PTW process
to prevent conflict between work requests
• Review all PTW required for the works (construction, hook-up, pre-commissioning and commissioning, etc.)
with CTR representatives to ensure compliance with LOTO procedures.
• Undertake site PTW audits & inspections and ensure corrective action recommendations are conclusively
closed - out.
• Follow-up to ensure expired work permits are closed cancelled or renewed timely as may be required.
• Participate in the site emergency preparedness and follow-up the improvement measures undertaken after the
regular exercise.
• Coordinate the management of the all required permit to work with contractor and sub-contractors.
• Focus on the early identification of potential problems and propose appropriate solutions to COMPANY CSR
and HSE Lead.
• Attend regular meetings with contractors’ HSE representatives to discuss and agree on HSE concerns and
potential hazards.
• Be proactive in promoting HSE awareness at all levels within the project team and contractor personnel.
• Monitor the implementation of control measures identified during risk analyses while carrying out site works
activities.
• Keep adequate log of all PTW, carry out regular audits and report on status.
• Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents to determine their underlying causes, report anomalies
and check corrective actions.
• Advise all relevant signatories of the PTW on any aspect of work on site that has high potential risks.
• Monitor the implementation and close-out of PTW related actions from anomaly reports, inspections and audit
reports.
• Coordinate the performance of toolbox meetings with the Contractor HSE personnel on site.
• Carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarchical superiors.
• Ensure that an effective implementation of HSE system is applied, as appropriate at site.
• Take time for checking safety documents and permits at site.
• Ensure that risk assessment prior to start new activity is properly conducted and understood by personnel
involved.
• Make self-visible at site and available/approachable for discussion about HSE/PTW concerns.

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Give HSE the highest priority and ensure that Contractors works in accordance with COMPANY rules and
procedures, with particular attention to health, safety, environment and sustainable development.
• Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to HSE and quality management.
• As an individual, you are responsible for your own Health and Safety. Do nothing that can cause harm to you or
your working colleagues or associates.
• Be responsible for the safety, integrity and environmental requirements related to all project activities
• Monitoring the HSE performance of the installation Contractors and of their subcontractors, to ensure
compliance with documented Project HSE Plans and Procedures in order to achieve contractual HSE
requirements.
• Initiate STOP procedure for unsafe acts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

• Formal training in HSE with recognized qualification or certification.


• Minimum 5 years working experience in the Oil and Gas production projects, with minimum 3 years on
position(s) of similar HSE /PTW responsibilities.
• Knowledge of risk assessment techniques and experience.
• Administrative skills including proficiency in typical office applications (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
• Fluent in English language and ability to communicate well at all levels within the Company. Possess very
good planning, presentation, negotiations and organizational skills.

Job based Offshore Nigeria on rotation basis.
