Our Beginning
Like many Chelsea Dalbey had found a fondness for the nectar of the gods that is
coffee during her later high school years. In the early phase of her new life of coffee
Star Bucks was the obvious choice, but people eventually come to their senses,
(some sooner than others). Caffeine continued to follow her to college, where she
would find a local coffee house, and evolve from a customer who orders complex
drinks into one who found a love for straight black liquid. There was something
about that warmth form the cup that made the atmosphere more inviting. From
the music to the freshness of the brew, the coffee house was the home away from
home we all find. It was not more than a year later when the establishment shut
down. The next few years were filled with trips, finding new places to purchase a
strong brew, but none had yet to give the same environment that she found before.
It was in this endless search that finally ended with the decision that, “If I can’t find
that sense of comfort in a cup, I will ****ing make it myself”. It took much needed
preparation, a lot of self-funding, and that recently closed Star Buck to take place
before White Hearth Coffee was opened in the summer of 2017.
