Incorporate a variety of these every week during your study sessions

for the best results.

Translate short stories to and from the language you are learning

Search for questions to get to know someone and write responses

Listen to a podcast while walking, driving, or working out

Watch YouTube videos/vlogs

Watch subtitled TV series/movies

Look up sample conversations

Read children's short stories

Read conversational dialogues

Read news articles

Read short stories aloud

Speak aloud and try to match an audio recording to help with your

pronunciation

Practice speaking with a language partner (italki, HelloTalk,

Tandem, etc.)

Write conversational scenarios for yourself and practice reciting

them (ex. Ordering at a restaurant, telling someone about

yourself, etc.)

Write out different verb tense conjugations

Review your vocabulary lists

Look up free online grammar exercises

Learn common phrases and practice those regularly

Keep a journal and write about your day
