ACTIVITY 2

Name: Pabilona, Lyza Lee M. Section: BSIT-1B

I. LET ME SEE!
Draw, create or make a poster that shows or explain about SELF.
II. REALLY!?
Describe the different notions of the self from the point-of-view of
the various philosophers across time and place.

The points of view of the different philosophers are their own belief
of the definition of the self. It’s like they are given one topic but
they interpreted or understand it with different perspectives. So
now, they are standing on their beliefs about the self and the
generations are still bringing the philosophies of the different
philosophers. From diverse and influential metaphysical
viewpoints, the latest deals with the Self are from phenomenology
and psychoanalysis to metaphysics and neurophilosophy, and it
discusses several different issues such as psychological identity,
self-distinction, psychopsychology, concerns with the mind and
body. Amongst numerous world views, or metaphysics, some of
the philosophy was created. And the other philosophies tend to
think of ourselves as different from the rest of the universe as well.
III. LET ME THINK . . .
In your own words, explain the following statements.

This self statement is connection to God. This self statement are made of 3
components. The body/flesh, soul and spirit. The body is a part of us but it’s not
the one who defines us. The soul is who we are; it’s the one who defines us it’s
our individuality. The spirit where our faith relays determined our personal
relationship to God. It’s essential for us to have a great relationship with God
because He is the life of the soul and one would not achieve inner peace without
findings God’s love.

“For the flesh is not

flesh to itself, but the
soul is the life of the
flesh, but the soul is not
life to itself, but God is
the life of the soul.”
What we do or what we think is the outcome of our actions. As the
time passes by, we grow and learn that our self is also improving
whether it is in a bad or a good way. What we gain from our past
experiences can construct ourselves in the present or in the future.
Every decisions and actions are reflecting to our self.

“We construct the self”

from it. Nature, too, impinges on guy. It is often considered
