 SEMBALUN OVERNIGHT

On 3rd April, students from Travel Tourism Business Study Program held a trip to Sembalun
for Field Practice for 3 days 2 nights and we stayed at Nusantara Hotel during our stay in Sembalun.
The group went to Sembalun by 4 minibuses.

The trip started at PPL campus in Mataram. Before we left, the lecturers gave us a briefing
during the trip to Sembalun. We went to Sembalun through the path of Narmada-Kopang-Masbagik-
Selaparang-Sembalun. At 11 a.m. we arrived at the first destination, it’s Maqam Selaparang. There
were many graveyards from the Selaparang Kingdom. We prayed for the king of Selaparang Kingdom
and his friends and families. After finished praying we continued to Lemor. Its such a swimming pool
where was located in the middle of the Lemor forest. The water was very fresh and natural because it
directly from water springs of Mount Rinjani. We were in Lemor for about 2 hours. After that we
continued to Sembalun Village to stay there. We stopped at Taman Pusuk Sembalun to take group
pictures. At 4 p.m. we arrived at Nusantara Hotel. All the students and the lecturers took rest before
continued the activities during in Sembalun.

The second day, all students prepared themselves for the observation in Sembalun Villages.
The first thing that we needed to do was did socialization to Sembalun villagers in around the hotel.
After that we trekked to gate of Mt. Rinjani post 1. The cars picked up there, and we continued to visit
Bale Beleq Village. We observed about an hour. After that, we went back to hotel to take rest before
visited Bumbung Village at afternoon. When we were in Bumbung Village we were shown some
weapons from Majapahit kingdom, and there was samurai from Japan. After in Bumbung village, we
went to Strawberry Agro-tourism. We picked some strawberries and ate some. Then, we went back to
our hotel to take a rest before continued the last trip.

On third day, we prepared to check out from hotel. We went back to Mataram through the
path of the north way. We directly went to Kokoq Putiq River which was water form from the sulfur.
So, it made the color of the water was blue. We continued to visit Senaru village for observation about
an hour. After that, we had a lunch at Tanjung. Then, we stopped at Malaka to take group pictures.
We took rest in Krandangan Beach for 2 hours. And then, we continued to back to Mataram. At 5
p.m. we arrived in our campus in Mataram.
