Riam Road Secondary School COVID-19 Preventing

Measures
In view of the movement restriction measures imposed throughout the country,
our school will be taking extra measures to reduce and prevent the spread of the
COVID-19 after the school reopens on the 1st of April 2020.

1. School assembly shall be postponed.

2. Two morning and lunch breaks will be implemented. Transition, Form 1 and
Form 2 will have their morning break starting at 9:15 a.m – 9:50 a.m. Form
3, Form 4 and Form 5 will have their morning break at 9:50 a.m – 10:25
a.m. For the lunch break, Transition, Form 1 and Form 2 students will start
at 12:10 p.m – 12:45 p.m and Form 3, Form 4 and Form 5 will start at 12:45
p.m – 1:10 p.m.
3. The canteen operators will be moving some of the tables and chairs to the
old canteen area to avoid congestion during the break time.
4. There will be no co-curricular activities for the time being. Students may go
back at 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
5. Starting June, Form 3 and Form 5 students shall stay back for extra classes
until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
6. Students are advised to wear mask, wash their hands regularly throughout
the day and are advised to avoid physical contact with others.
