Q1)Draw a diagram of the drop process. How long does it take to empty

300 silver rupee slot machines?

Ans)Given-Time taken to obtain a key to be 15 minutes.

Time taken to retrieve drop buckets- 10 minutes each bucket

Number of slot machines-300

So,total time= 10*300=3000 minutes/50 hours

Time taken to for delivery and secure= 20minutes each card

Number of carts=15

So,Total time=20*15=300minutes/5 hours

Now,answering the above question i.e time to empty 300 silver rupee

=Key time+Total retrieving time+Total delivery time

=15+3000+300=3315 minutes

Q2)How long should this process take to complete for 300silver dollar slot
machine?Assume that each has an average of 750silver dollars when it is
emptied?

Ans) Given, first testing the weight scale for which 10 minutes is

consumed.

The process of weight and recording takes seven minutes each bucket.
Silver dollar wrapping rate in each roll(25)=10 rolls each minute

The·cans are stacked to facilitate counting the wrapped coins. Silver

dollar cans

hold $1,000, or 40 rolls

Produce time=5 minutes

Counting and verifying =2 minutes each can.

750 silver dollars / 25 = 30 Roll-Drop bucket

30 Rolls x 300 machines = 9000 Rolls in total

Time to calibrate scale = 10 min

Total time to Weight and record each bucket=7x 300= 2100 minutes

Total time to wrap each roll = 9000 / 10 = 900 minutes

Total number of cans=9000/40= 225 cans

Total time to place rolls into can = 225x 5= 1125 minutes

Therefore,

Total Time to process 300 silver dollar slot machines = [Calliberate time+
weight

and record time+ wrap time + placing time+run time + counting and
verifying time]

Total Time to process 300 silver dollar slot machines = 10+ 2100+
900+1125+ 5+ 2= 4142 minutes.

Q3)The casino is considering the purchase of a second coin wrapping

machine. What impact would it have on the hard count price? Is this most
desirable machine to purchase?

Ans)First rates,

A machine does 750/25=30 rolls each drop bucket

Rolling is done at 30*300=9000 rolls

Weighing and recording=7*300=2100 minutes

Calliberate time=10 minutes

Wrapping time=9000/20=450 minutes

Placing time=225*5=1125 minutes

So.total time to process the 300 silver dollar= Weighing and recording+
Calliberate time+ Wrapping time+ Placing time+Run time+Count and verify
time

=2100+10+450+1125+5+2=3692 minutes
