are ‘guilty’, or ‘immoral’. He argues that in order for our legal system to survive, lawyers
need to fight for their clients in an unbiased way, and grant them the benefit of doubt.
Otherwise, the rule of law would be undermined if people were convicted without a fair
trial. He concludes by reiterating the fact that lawyers should be willing to represent
unwelcome opinions and clients and defend them to the best of their ability.
