Personal · - The chart isn’t going as well as I had hoped, I thought they would be
Reflection excited to change it up and write their answers on a chart and not do a
worksheet. I think I have to do a better job at explaining it at the beginning. I
also should have shown them where the interior plains was. I thought if I
explained that it was where they lived they would be able to have some
answers and questions. Once I showed them after our initial battle with the
KWL chart they were able to give me more information. I need to improve on
giving instructions at the beginning that are clear and concise. They like to
attach to words so you have to be specific and repeat, that you want
something done neatly or quietly. I also went about 45 minutes instead of 30.
We changed the lessons to alternating days but now for an hour instead of
30 minutes.

Accommodations
- R needs to be able to hear me (if I don’t have the microphone for hearing aids) I will sit
beside him. Just make sure he has heard the instructions
- A make sure he is on task, make sure he understands what your instructions are (may
have to repeat or explain differently)
- All students are ESL students, they don’t speak English at home or with their friends, just
in English school. Me reading it allows them to hear a traditional English speaker say the
words and they can see the actual word
- Green names mean they are the student helper for that time
