Activity 1. Reflective Essay

Direction: Read the questions below carefully and write your answer on the space provided.

During this COVID19 pandemic, what do you think is the importance of physical
activities in your own personal life?

Reading the news about COVID19, I found out that Physical fitness is important this
Pandemic. The more you are physically fit, the lesser risk that COVID will infect you. Also, being
physically fit and healthy gives COVID 19 patients, a much stronger immune system and
doctors also suggest that even if we are all lock in our own houses, we must exercise regularly
to fight the corona virus. According to research, Regular exercise may reduce the risk of acute
respiratory distress syndrome, a major cause of death in patients with COVID 19. To be honest.
I have not exercised since the lockdown even we are all advised to exercise to help fight the
virus. I must say, because of lack of motivation and laziness, I have not exercise since then.
Also, I gained a lot of weight since I am stuck in our house that makes me feel lazy to do things
and do physical activities. We must exercise regularly to prevent illnesses and to strengthen our
immune system which is important today. Equipment are not necessarily needed if you want to
exercise. Using things at your own houses, you can improvise equipment to use for your
workout.

What are the ways that you are doing to cope effectively in this pandemic situation?

This pandemic, since we are all locked down in our own houses. Some of us feel tired
even we have not done anything worth tiring, we feel lonely, we feel lazy and more. All of these
are what I feel this Pandemic. Also, online classes are very tiring for me and because there are
a lot of happening around us, I cannot barely focus on my studies. Sometimes, I am also
lacking interest on what I do. Whether it is for school or even what I usually do. To cope up
with what I feel, I always watch funny videos on YouTube to uplift my emotions also, we play
games with my friends online and do some exercise if I am not lazy.
