How much heat can a chicken egg get before breaking?

The world wants to know how hot an egg can get before breaking. To have an egg break

you need many things before experimentation. To have an egg break under extreme heat you

need something that can get up to the heat that you need. Some people might believe that the

different kinds of eggs may affect the results greatly, but it does not. All the most common types

of chicken eggs do not vary in resistance to heat. There are several different ways to heat an egg.

Most people probably use a stove. You could also use a microwave or barbecue.

A chicken egg is what comes out of a hen and that's what the chick is formed in. Eggs are

made up of three parts, the yolk, the whites, and the shell. The yolk is what will turn into the

chick. The egg whites are what protects the egg yolk and keeps it in the center to keep it out of

any harm(Masterclass 1). Finally, the shell of the egg keeps all of the contents inside the egg safe

from any outside forces. The difference between the parts is that they all have different purposes

of forming the chick and keeping it safe.God made all of these different parts of the egg for

different reasons. (Exploratorium 1)

There are more than ten different types of chicken eggs, standard white eggs being the

most common out of all of them because of their abundance. The difference between these eggs

are on how the hens are treated, living conditions and their diet. From standard white eggs to free

range eggs it all depends on how the hens are treated. Vegetarian eggs come from hens that are
Williams 3

fed no meat only grass or plants. Thera are different types of housing conditions for hens and that

affects the quality of the egg. (Eggs 1)

Throughout American history people have been using grills and making hamburgers and

hotdogs but have any of these people wondered what kind of gas they are using? The most

common type of gas used for grills in America is natural gas or, in more remote places, propane.

The difference between propane and natural gas is that propane contains more energy and is a

faster and more efficient way to heat a grill or barbecue. Natural gas is safer for the environment,

but a more expensive way to go because you have to install a fixed barbecue grill. In order to use

natural gas, you have to have someone install a whole natural gas system in your home. It might

seem like an obvious choice to go with propane, but over the years constantly buying propane

can add up and if you run out you're out of luck. Most natural gas and propane barbecues can get

up to 500-550 degrees Fahrenheit. The two types of gasses don't make a difference because

propane just heats up faster but has the same max heat. Whichever source of gas you use, it all

depends on a consumer's preference and your whereabouts. (Tasteofhome 1)

How hot can a chicken egg get before breaking? To break an egg you will need a heat

source and be able to monitor how much heat is produced until the egg breaks. The scientist

conducting this experiment should monitor the heat to keep it steady and try to get the same

results when conducted several times.
