 Albert Bandura

Albert Bandura was born on December 4, 1925 in northern Alberta-

Canada. In Alberta. In this place winter season is short and rainy,
but hot during summer. His parents were polish immigrants. He
studied in a school near his home. He was a great elementary
student. Albert Bandura studied at the University of British
Columbia. In his student days he was very popular because he was
dedicated to his studies. He had achieved the maximum rating in his
studies, then he traveled to the Unites States of America for
pursuing studies in clinical psychology.
He is considered the best psychologist in the world because he
designed his “Social learning theory”. His theory is very
important because we could know and learn more about the
knowledge and social behaviors. Similarly, about his professional
achievements Albert Bandura was the president of APA in 1974,
subsequently he won many awards (1980 and 2004) in
recognition of his contribution to the advancement of science.
About his future plans. Albert Bandura wants to return to
teaching at the university. He says that he is going to be the
oldest man in Oxford University. On the other hand, about his
physical appearance we say that he is tall, thin and has white complexion at the same time he
has brown eyes, white and curly hair. He likes wearing suits, shirts and ties. He says that it´s
very comfortable. Finally, If I talk you about his health, I can say that he is a healthy person.
Actually, he’s still alive. He is ninety-four years old. Moreover, he has retired from teaching.
He is living in Toronto-Canada.

We are of the view that Albert Bandura is a persistent, studious and

enthusiastic man. He is a living example for us and has inspired many. His
story will help us to achieve our goals because we are going to be the best
professionals of the world. Finally, we think that everybody should follow
his example.

A: Ladies and gentleman ¡¡ tonight we are going to talk to you about a great person. But my
partner is going to tell us who is he about?
B: yes ¡¡ and the person is “Albert Bandura”.
A: oh ¡¡ please tell us more ¡¡
B: Certainly¡¡, tonight we will know his contributions to science and career as a living
example.
A: Could you tell us when and where was he born?
B: He was born on December 4, 1925 in northern Alberta- Canada.
A: Oh¡ interesting. How is the weather in his hometown?
B: Well, the winter is short, it rains, and during summer is hot.
 A: How about his education background?
B: First, He studied at the University of Columbia.
A: That’s interesting, was he the best student?

B:Among professors, he is known to be a really good student for showing a good
performance while studying there.
CUANDO
A: Is there another thing that he studied?
B: Yes, his second university is located in the U.S.
A: Right, I heard that he studied more about clinical psychologist.
B: That’s true he is considered the best psychologist in the world due to the fact that he
developed the “Social learning theory, one of his biggest breakthroughs.
A: Oh. I see what you mean. I assume he had won lots of awards, right?
B: Yes, he did. So far these days, he is planning to go back to the classrooms. He says that he
is going to teach again.
A: Now, talking about him physical appearance. How is he like? I can just imagine that he
should be really old.
B: He’s got complex skin, brown eyes and straight white hair.
A: He just looks like my grandpa. He must have good taste like wearing suits and ties.
B: Yeah, he doesn't really look oldest because He has a healthy life based on vegetables,
proteins and fruit.
A: Wowww, I don't like broccoli for example. I’m not a healthy nuts.
B: on the other hand. Bandura is living now in a department in Toronto-Canada. This facility
has different recreating areas, there’s where he exercises the most.
A: Really interesting. He’s such a good example of an enthusiastic and persistent man.
B: I think he is a role model. Even a better person with an open heart to help others.
A: I´m glad to be here. The next week we are going to talk you about another interesting
person.
