RESEARCH METHOD

The purpose of adopting a research framework for a researcher is to have a clear

picture about the relationship between dependable variable and independent variable.
As shown in the below figure 1. The research framework is shown. The independent
variables like plastic recycle bin, offers made by Nike, reuse of the plastic as Nike’s
material and reduction of plastic bag use and dependent variable is customer
awareness about the usage of plastic bag.

Independent variables
Approaches made by Nike:

 Plastic recycle bin

 Offers made by Nike Dependent variable
 Reuse of the plastic as Customer Awareness

Sample and data collection

For our research, we have implemented accessibility way of getting the data by
conducting online survey. The questions were related to Nike company and plastic
usage. By conducting online survey, we can collect data and use it for research very
efficiently. In our view online data collection is one of the easiest and fastest ways to
get the required information as it only requires a smartphone or a gadget of similar
kind.
The people who responded to the survey are from India. Majority of them were MBA
students.
Along with online surveys we also done some research of our own and collected data
from various articles. The information regarding usage of plastic has been collected
from articles, newspapers, internet, and books. we have gone through various articles
the articles were collected from journals and some of the articles were found through
internet research.

Research Instrument
To conduct this research and achieve our research target we have divided the survey
form into two parts. In the first part, respondents were requested to fill their email
address, name, gender, and age group. we can be able to generate this demographic
data by collecting this information.
For part two, we framed the questions related to Nike. we also included questions
related to consumption of plastic. The questions were related to what their concern
about green environment are, the effect of plastic on ocean ecosystem, and many
more questions related to plastic consumption. These questions were asked to
understand if they are concern with the current issue or not.
